i-D YOUTHFUL MAGAZINE

Today I just received the i-D Magazine. The theme for this magazine is youth. I bought this because youth is about young and adolescence, it relates to my topic of the life of students. This cover looks fun and enjoyable to look at, it has that playfulness impression and the pastel colours encourage that lively energy. Not only is the concept effective and distinctive, the models smile looks genuine, refreshing and I think smiles are more welcoming/approachable.

It inspires me to take photos of people enjoying themselves and essentially celebrating our youth.

The lighting and soft saturation is something i will consider when taking my own photography.
