DRAWING LESSON

Today we did Drawings using all methods. From my previous research of Portrait Artists, I found a theme of transparent effects, pastel colours and simplicity.
My style of portraits reflect these elements and I have used the mediums; fine liner, gesso and water colour. I hope I have achieved a modern and contemporary sense to the paintings. I want it to reflect my inspiration and mood boards of graphical and modern responses. I've drawn faces and then layered them with white paint. I used slight colour because I like the soft pale effect.
